LEI creates structured empowerment pathways for girls, women, youth, and community leaders. Our work combines leadership development, peacebuilding, mentoring, global connection, volunteer engagement, and service-based action.
Through the LEI Global Peace Initiative, LEI Global Circles, ambassador support, professional expertise, bi-monthly communications, trainings, and events, LEI helps participants grow in confidence, build meaningful relationships, practice leadership, and contribute to positive change in their communities.
Our work is especially focused on girls and women in underserved communities, including those facing barriers to education, leadership, safety, opportunity, confidence, economic participation, and access to public and digital spaces.
Our Five Focus Areas
1. Girls’ and Women’s Leadership
LEI supports girls and women to build confidence, voice, dignity, leadership capacity, and a sense of purpose. We help participants recognize their potential and develop the tools to lead change in their own lives, families, communities, and wider society.
This focus includes leadership training, mentoring, confidence-building, life skills, personal development, public voice, and participation in community action.
2. Peacebuilding and Interfaith Understanding
Peace is central to LEI’s empowerment model. We believe girls and women are not only beneficiaries of peacebuilding they are essential leaders in creating peaceful families, communities, institutions, and nations.
Through dialogue, interfaith understanding, values-based leadership, and community engagement, LEI promotes respect, healing, nonviolence, and cooperation across differences.
3. Education and Life Empowerment
Education is one of the strongest pathways to empowerment. LEI provides structured learning opportunities that help girls, women, youth, and emerging leaders build knowledge, confidence, self-awareness, leadership ability, and readiness for life.
Our education and life empowerment work supports personal growth, practical skills, community responsibility, and long-term resilience.
4. Socioeconomic Resilience
LEI supports pathways that help girls, women, families, and communities move toward greater stability, self-sufficiency, and meaningful participation in social and economic life.
This includes empowerment activities that strengthen confidence, skills, networks, leadership, access to opportunity, and community support systems.
5. Global Circles and Partnerships
LEI connects people across borders through online country-based Global Circles, volunteers, ambassadors, professional experts, institutional partners, and supporters.
These circles are trained, organized, and empowered through structured LEI programming. They create spaces for learning, connection, leadership, peacebuilding, service, and local action.
